During our D&T lessons the children will be baking! The children were very excited to have a taster session where they got to taste some banana cake. As a class we then discussed what we liked and disliked about the cake. Evin said “I love it! I like the sweetness inside it,” and Ollie said, “It is good – I like the banana in it.” The children filled out their D&T booklets. We talked about how we could make the cake tastier, healthier and what we could add to it or what we could change. Puffins will be baking soon… watch this space!!

In maths Puffins have been learning to count in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s!! The children have also been learning all about ‘arrays’.

We have had some very cute feathery visitors in Puffin’s class this week. The children got to ask their questions and watch the ducklings paddle about. They also had the opportunity to hold and stroke them. Aww… we loved meeting Daisy, Gill, Charlie and Cutie. Thankyou Tyler and Mummy!!

Puffins have been learning all out plants during their science lessons. As part of one of their lessons the children got to plant some vegetable seeds. We can’t wait to see them grow!!

The children have loved their Goldentime. As the weather is so nice, we let them run about on the field. Some children even created a nature bracelet.
