Today the Puffins have learnt how to edit their work. The children were able to use their purple polishing pens to make changes to their work where there was ‘pink for think’. Keep up the hard work Puffins!
The children have started to learn the strategies they need for reading unfamiliar words. This week we were focusing on looking at the pictures to help us.
Our first ever lesson went well. The children learnt how to express different types of feeling in our role session and what different colours represent different emotions.
Eric has become an exciting part of our daily timetable. All the children look forward to this part of the day. They have explored the school library, learning how to read with a partner and taking part in their first flashlight Friday.
The children have settled in amazingly into their new class. They have displayed excellent listening and concentration, even when it’s been hot and tiring! Well done Puffins! What a great start 🙂
